Living Room
The bright and spacious double aspect living room is a wonderful place for everyone to relax. A room for all seasons, this living room is nice and comfy with large sofas and arm chairs, and has views over the front garden. Within the living room is a wall-mounted flat screen TV, a DVD player and a music system. There is also a handy wood-burning stove ideal for chilly winter months.
Located towards the rear of the house is a further sitting room with pine dining table and lovely views of the back garden.
Kitchen
Talland Croft has a large open plan kitchen/diner with a nice contemporary feel. Fitted to a high standard, the kitchen is equipped with everything a family requires when staying in North Cornwall. Features in the kitchen include a double range cooker, a dishwasher and a range of cupboards for storage.
At the heart of the kitchen/diner is the dining table, which seats up to 10.
The house also benefits from a separate utility room, which is fitted with its own sink, a washing machine, a tumble drier and a fridge/freezer. A series of hooks for hanging coats are also situated in the utility room, as well as a useful downstairs cloakroom.
Bedroom 1
Situated on the ground floor of the property is the first of five bedrooms. This nice double bedroom overlooking the front garden has a king-size bed, as well as bedside tables, a wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bedroom 2
The first bedroom positioned upstairs is a nice bright double with 4’6’’ bed. Overlooking the front garden, the bedroom has plenty of storage space, including two bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 2, also benefits from its own en-suite bathroom, which is fitted with an electric shower, a WC and a sink.
Family Bathroom
Three of the bedrooms share the family bathroom, which has a nice central position within the house. The bathroom is fitted to a high standard with fixtures including a bath with mixer tap and hand-held shower attachment, a WC and a sink. There is also an airing cupboard and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 3
The third bedroom at Talland Croft is a nice bright twin. The two 3’ single beds are neatly arranged to give guests plenty of space. The bedroom also has plenty of places for hanging holiday attire, include two bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe.
Bedroom 4
Bedroom 4 has some of the best views, including the rear garden, St Carantoc Church and in the distance the glorious sea. The room, which has handy zip and link beds can be made up as either a super king size double or as two singles depending on guests’ requirements. The bedroom also features a built-in wardrobe and bedside tables.
Bedroom 5
The final bedroom is also the Master and has great views of the rear garden. The super-king size double bed is lovely and comfy and if needed can be separated into two singles. The room also features a bedside table, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
Guests staying in the Master Bedroom can also take advantage of its own en-suite bathroom, which is fitted with a shower, a WC and a sink.
Garden
The garden is accessed via the utility room and is mostly laid to lawn with mature plants and flowering borders around the edges. For alfresco dinners, there are two good sized patios. There is also a lovely summer house, a BBQ, a chimenea and two tables with chairs.
Please note the garden is fully enclosed making it ideal for guests staying with dogs or children.
